Description
You’ll be a key member of the Thematic Campaigns Hub, working across a range of issues including Energy, Salience, Food and Nature and more. As Senior Campaigns Associate, you will lead on translating strategic objectives into impactful integrated campaign strategies, using insights, experimentation, and cutting-edge tactics to engage priority audiences where they’re consuming content, news and media, and influence specific audiences.
You’ll be at the forefront of testing new approaches across the ever changing information landscape to meet audiences where they are —whether that’s using emerging platforms, synthesizing polling into message testing, A/B testing creative concepts, or exploring new partnerships with publishers, opinion leaders, and influencers. You’ll combine creative vision with analytical rigour to ensure our campaigns are not just seen, but drive impact.
How you'll contribute
1. Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Design and deliver integrated digital strategies that align with campaign goals, audience insights, and organisational priorities.
- Partner with campaigners, comms specialists, and creatives to translate messaging into high-impact digital plans.
- Ensure campaigns are timely, targeted, and adaptable to fast-changing political and cultural moments.
2. Insights & Analytics
- Develop audience segmentation and targeting strategies informed by research, data, and behavioural insights.
- Monitor campaign performance in real time, optimising creative, messaging, and channel mix for maximum impact.
- Produce clear insights reports that drive decision-making and learning across the organisation.
3. Testing & Innovation
- Lead the testing of new media channels, formats, and partnerships, from influencer collaborations to podcast partnerships, programmatic media plans and fully integrated campaign strategy.
- Champion a test–learn–iterate culture in the digital team, embedding best practices for experimentation.
- Track emerging trends and tools, making recommendations for adoption where they can increase reach or influence.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Work closely with policy, advocacy, and media colleagues to ensure message discipline and coordinated rollout.
- Brief and manage external agencies, media partners, and content creators.
- Present strategies, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and partners.
5. People Management
Constructive Feedback: Delivering regular, actionable feedback to drive improvements.
- Campaign reviews and approvals ensuring adherence to relevant regulation and legislation including, but not limited to the Transparency and Targeting of Political Advertising (TTPA) Regulation and Digital Services Act (USA)
- Delegation & Empowerment: Assigning tasks to the right individuals and trusting them to make decisions
- Resource Planning: Managing workloads and capacity

Our ideal candidate has
To succeed in this role, you will have the below qualities:
- Proven experience in campaign strategy and digital campaigning, advocacy, or marketing, ideally with an issues-based or political focus.
- Proven experience managing teams within a complex organisational matrix
- Strong grasp of audience targeting, integrated media strategy, and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, programmatic platforms).
- Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and evaluate multi-channel campaigns.
- Skills in A/B testing, message and creative testing, and adapting strategies based on results.
- Experience in influencer collaboration, new media partnerships, podcast pitching, and/or developing thought leadership networks
- Experience in managing agencies, vendors and 3rd party suppliers
- Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills tailored for digital audiences.
- Ability to work in dynamic teams and thrive in fast-paced, reactive campaign environments.
- Knowledge of political landscapes, advocacy campaigning, or movement-building.
- Familiarity with social listening and insights analysis.
- Experience running direct media buys with news publishers.
- Comfort working across multiple time zones and cultures.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, our working language;

Location: flexibly remote.
Some international travel will be required. We may be able to provide co-working spaces in some locations. Only candidates with the right to work in their location will be considered.
