We are looking for someone with experience in this industry who can help us keep
growing. Above all, we are seeking an individual who enjoys working in a team, can

We are specifically seeking a Senior Backend Developer (100% remote) who can apply
best practices that will be a significant part of their daily work. This role also involves
taking on responsibilities as a Software Architect, focused on operations and automation.

The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on skills to streamline and
scale processes effectively.

You would be part of the IT Delivery team. We currently have more than 40 colleagues

As a Backend Engineer, you will be the technical engine behind our global connectivity platform, ensuring our services are scalable and resilient. You will own the development of high-performance APIs, directly enabling millions of users to stay connected anywhere in the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and optimize mission-critical microservices using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF).

• Engineer Quality Frameworks by implementing robust unit testing (Pytest) and automated quality checks to ensure elite code standards.

• Architect scalable APIs from scratch, ensuring they can handle high-concurrency traffic during peak travel seasons.

• Eliminate technical debt by identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, including N+1 query issues and asynchronous task optimization.

• Collaborate across borders with Product and QA teams to translate complex business logic into maintainable technical solutions.

• Champion best practices in the software lifecycle, from design patterns and documentation to comprehensive code reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with a mastery of Django and Django REST Framework (DRF).

• Strong expertise in Unit Testing and establishing quality-first development frameworks.

• Proven experience designing microservices architectures and integrating complex third-party ecosystem applications.

• Proficiency in asynchronous programming and managing high-load database queries.

• Professional-level English (C1 minimum) for effective collaboration in our global environment.
   

Good to have

• Fluency or professional working proficiency in Spanish.

• Experience with Silk or other performance profiling tools.
