They bring strong expertise in ITIL-based service management, Assets and CMDB design, workflow and automation development, integrations, migrations, governance, and platform modernization, along with the ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and supportable solutions. 

About The Role

Myriad360 is seeking a Senior Atlassian Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, optimization, and adoption of Atlassian-based Enterprise Service Management solutions. This role will work directly with Clients and internal engineering, sales, project management, and managed services teams to translate business and operational requirements into scalable solutions using Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Assets, Jira Product Discovery, Jira Operations, Atlassian Guard, and related marketplace applications. 

The ideal candidate combines strong Atlassian platform expertise with practical experience in ITIL, service management, asset management, workflow design, integrations, automation, and solution consulting. This is a senior individual contributor role with responsibility across presales, discovery, architecture, implementation, technical leadership, and ongoing optimization. 

Must be based in the United States. 

Other responsibilities include: 

Solution Architecture and Design 

  • Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and solution design activities with Client stakeholders. 
  • Translate business, technical, and operational requirements into scalable Atlassian solutions. 
  • Design Jira and Jira Service Management projects, workflows, request types, forms, queues, SLAs, permissions, notifications, automation, dashboards, and reports. 
  • Develop Assets and CMDB data models, object schemas, relationships, lifecycle processes, and governance standards. 
  • Design service management capabilities across incident, request, problem, change, knowledge, asset, configuration, and service-level management. 
  • Define integration architectures involving Atlassian products, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Teams, monitoring platforms, identity providers, CMDBs, ERP systems, HR systems, and other enterprise applications. 
  • Evaluate and recommend Atlassian Marketplace applications, Forge solutions, APIs, middleware, and automation approaches. 
  • Produce solution architecture documents, technical designs, process models, data models, integration specifications, and implementation roadmaps. 
  • Ensure proposed solutions are secure, supportable, maintainable, and aligned with Client operating models. 

Presales and Client Advisory 

  • Support sales pursuits, proposals, demonstrations, estimates, statements of work, and technical presentations. 
  • Conduct technical discovery and identify Client pain points, business outcomes, dependencies, risks, and assumptions. 
  • Develop solution options and articulate the value, tradeoffs, implementation effort, and operating implications of each option. 
  • Lead Atlassian demonstrations tailored to Client use cases and stakeholder priorities. 
  • Contribute to account expansion through roadmap development, platform assessments, maturity reviews, and optimization recommendations. 
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to Client executives, platform owners, process owners, and technical teams. 

Implementation and Technical Leadership 

  • Provide technical leadership throughout implementation, migration, configuration, integration, and testing activities. 
  • Establish configuration standards, naming conventions, governance models, and reusable solution patterns. 
  • Lead data migration planning, data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, validation, and cutover activities. 
  • Define and oversee system integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect triage, remediation, and release readiness. 
  • Support adoption planning, training, knowledge transfer, documentation, and transition to operations. 
  • Review technical deliverables and configurations for quality, completeness, scalability, and alignment with approved designs. 
  • Mentor Atlassian administrators, consultants, engineers, and junior architects. 
  • Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, project status meetings, and Client steering committees. 

Ongoing Platform Optimization 

  • Assess existing Atlassian environments and recommend improvements to architecture, configuration, governance, performance, security, and user experience. 
  • Develop phased roadmaps for platform modernization, migration, consolidation, and expansion. 
  • Analyze usage, configuration, workflow, reporting, and integration issues and recommend corrective actions. 
  • Support platform operating models, administration procedures, release management, and continuous improvement. 
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and productize repeatable Atlassian solutions within the Myriad360 service portfolio. 

 

  • Complete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies to the requirements section
  • Identify and escalate security risks to the appropriate Executive Leadership Team member and actively contribute to remediation efforts
  • Other duties as assigned 

Desired skills and experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 
  • 7 or more years of experience designing, implementing, administering, or consulting on Atlassian solutions. 
  • Strong hands-on experience with Jira and Jira Service Management. 
  • Experience designing service management solutions based on ITIL or comparable service management practices. 
  • Demonstrated experience with workflows, request types, forms, queues, SLAs, automation, permissions, notifications, dashboards, and reporting. 
  • Experience with Assets, CMDB design, configuration management, and asset lifecycle management. 
  • Experience leading discovery, requirements analysis, solution design, and technical implementation activities. 
  • Experience integrating Atlassian products with identity, collaboration, monitoring, business, and enterprise systems. 
  • Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, data mapping, authentication, and integration patterns. 
  • Ability to create architecture documents, process diagrams, data models, implementation plans, and technical proposals. 
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across sales, delivery, engineering, and Client teams. 

 Preferred Qualifications 

  • Atlassian Certified Expert, Atlassian Certified Consultant, or relevant Jira/Jira Service Management certifications. 
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira Product Discovery, Jira Operations, Atlassian Guard, and Advanced Roadmaps. 
  • Experience with Forge, ScriptRunner, REST APIs, webhooks, Automation for Jira, or similar development and automation tools. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Teams, Okta, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Azure, AWS, monitoring platforms, or enterprise middleware. 
  • Experience with Jira or ServiceNow migrations, including data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cutover. 
  • Experience implementing enterprise ITSM, ESM, ITAM, CMDB, DevOps, or compliance solutions. 
  • Experience working within a systems integrator, consulting firm, managed services provider, or professional services organization. 
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methods, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code concepts. 
  • Experience developing reusable offerings, reference architectures, accelerators, templates, or implementation methodologies.

  • Reduce implementation risk through clear assumptions, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and technical decisions. 
  • Build trusted relationships with Client stakeholders and internal delivery teams. 
  • Develop reusable solution patterns that improve delivery quality and efficiency. 
  • Successfully transition implemented solutions to Client administrators and managed services teams. 

 Work Environment 

  • This position may be performed remotely, in a hybrid environment, or onsite based on Client and engagement requirements. 
  • Occasional travel may be required for Client workshops, project meetings, implementations, or executive presentations. 
  • The role may require participation in meetings across multiple time zones. 
  • Work may involve multiple concurrent engagements with changing priorities and deadlines. 
  • Specific schedule, travel, and onsite expectations will be defined by the applicable engagement.

Pursuant to the NYC Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range in New York City for this position is $175,000.00, plus opportunities for profit-sharing bonus and/or commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
