The Senior Application Architect will lead the technical vision and architecture for cloud-native, AI-driven SaaS products. Responsibilities include defining architectural standards, governing event-driven systems, and guiding engineering teams in delivering scalable, resilient solutions.

We are looking for a Senior Application Architect to join our team and lead the architecture and technical vision of modern cloud-native, AI-driven SaaS products.
In this role, you will define application architecture standards, drive design decisions, and guide engineering teams in delivering scalable, resilient, and maintainable solutions. You will work closely with Product Management and Engineering teams, playing a key role in shaping the evolution of AI-powered products and agentic software systems.
The role combines software architecture, cloud-native engineering, and AI expertise, with a strong focus on distributed systems, modern architectural patterns, and Generative AI technologies.
Responsibilities:
Design cloud-native application architectures based on:
Microservices
Event-driven architectures
API-first principles
Define technical standards for:
APIs and integrations
Data models
Asynchronous communication
Observability
Design and govern event-driven systems using:
Domain Events
CQRS
Saga patterns
Event choreography and orchestration
Define application-level multi-tenant architectures and tenant isolation strategies
Lead the architecture of AI-powered and agentic solutions, including:
LLM integration
RAG pipelines
Agent orchestration
Vector databases
Human-in-the-loop workflows
Evaluate and adopt AI frameworks, tools, and engineering best practices
Translate business and product requirements into scalable architectural solutions
Lead architecture reviews, technical RFCs, and design decision processes
Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the software development lifecycle
Facilitate workshops and architecture design sessions, including:
Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
Event Storming
Architecture reviews
Mentor and coach engineering teams on cloud-native and architectural best practices
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Software Architecture roles
3+ years of experience designing cloud-native SaaS products
Experience in enterprise applications such as:
ERP
Payroll
HR platforms
Other complex B2B systems
Strong knowledge of architectural patterns:
Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
CQRS
Event Sourcing
Hexagonal Architecture
Event-Driven Architecture
Strong experience designing APIs using:
REST
GraphQL
gRPC
Experience integrating AI capabilities into production systems:
Large Language Models (LLMs)
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
Vector databases
Prompt engineering
AI services such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, AWS Bedrock, or equivalent
Deep understanding of agentic software architectures:
Agent orchestration frameworks
Tool use
Human-in-the-loop patterns
Evaluation pipelines
Strong backend development knowledge in at least one of the following:
C#
Python
Go
Java/Kotlin
TypeScript
Experience designing multi-tenant applications and tenant-aware APIs
Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and modern engineering practices
Proven ability to lead technical discussions and influence architectural decisions
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Fluency in English
