About the role

What we're looking for We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects across different domains, utilizing the latest technologies and methodologies to design, build, and maintain robust data systems. This role requires a deep understanding of dimensional data modelling principles, and a passion for solving complex data challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced data analysis and interpretation to support product and growth analytics.
  • Develop and implement semantic layers, data models, and reporting solutions to enable self-service analytics for clients.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and data visualizations to communicate key insights and metrics.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, translate them into analytical requirements, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and visualization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is a nice-to-have. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and database design.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis is a must-have. Proficiency in Python or R is a plus.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
  • Experience in the Crypto, Retail, or Health/Insurance industries is an advantage.
