The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Analytics Engineer will design, build, and maintain the data models, pipelines, and analytics infrastructure that power our business intelligence, enterprise analytics, Customer 360, and marketing activation workflows. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, ensuring that high‑quality, trusted data is available for Marketing, Product, Finance, Business Development and Ops teams.
You will work primarily within our MySQL, AWS, and Snowflake environment, using modern analytics engineering practices (dbt, SQL, ELT) to transform raw data into governed, business‑ready models.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary owner of all enterprise data marts across Marketing, Product, Finance, Business Development, and Operations- ensuring they are accurate, governed, and aligned to business needs
- Build and maintain ELT pipelines from MySQL and AWS into Snowflake
- Develop clean, tested, documented data models across raw, staging, core, and gold layers
- Own and enhance Customer 360, lifecycle, value, and marketing marts
- Partner with the business to translate business requirements into data models
- Implement data quality tests, documentation, and version control using dbt
- Drive Snowflake performance optimization, including warehouse strategy, search optimization, and cost management
- Support governance through tagging, masking, and secure views
- Collaborate with engineering teams on schema design and data ingestion patterns
- Build and maintain high‑trust semantic layers for BI and cross‑functional analytics
- Ensure data reliability through monitoring, alerting, and SLAs
- Work with marketing tools to support segmentation and activation (e.g. CRM, CDP)
- Partner with Reverse ETL tools to deliver attributes and triggers to downstream systems
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers and analysts
- Contribute to roadmap planning, prioritization, and long-term data strategy
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–10+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar roles
- Expert SQL and Snowflake skills, including performance tuning and warehouse optimization
- Strong experience with MySQL, AWS (S3, Lambda, EC2, Glue), and Snowflake
- Advanced proficiency with dbt, modular modeling, testing, and documentation
- Deep experience designing dimensional models, fact tables, and governed semantic layers
- Strong understanding of data governance (PII handling, masking, RLS, lineage)
- Experience building or owning Customer 360 or marketing‑focused data products
- Ability to lead cross‑functional projects and influence stakeholders
- Strong communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for business audiences
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, and modern development workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with marketing automation or CRM tools
- Experience with Reverse ETL platforms
- Experience with identity resolution, consent models, or SCD2 lifecycle history
- Familiarity with Python for automation or light data engineering
- Experience supporting predictive modeling or ML feature pipelines
- Experience in a modern data stack environment (Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Airflow, Looker, Power BI)
