Senior AI Developer

We're seeking an experienced Generative AI Specialist to design and implement sophisticated agentic AI systems that can autonomously handle complex workflows. You'll be responsible for architecting AI agents that interact with various data sources, make intelligent decisions, and deliver actionable insights to our customers. This role represents a unique opportunity to pioneer enterprise-scale agentic AI implementation, establishing new paradigms for autonomous decision-making and intelligent automation.

Location: Poland, remote

Our platform is built primarily in TypeScript, end to end. You'll own production services in a Node.js backend and contribute across the stack. We're looking for a strong fullstack engineer whose center of gravity is the backend, with a platform-architecture orientation - someone who thinks in reusable services, shared infrastructure, and clean interfaces rather than one-off features.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy production-grade agentic AI systems that can autonomously process customer documents and queries
• Architect retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines for large-scale document management and intelligent information extraction
• Implement multi-agent orchestration frameworks that coordinate between different specialized AI components
• Develop robust context management systems for handling extensive customer data while maintaining efficiency and accuracy
• Create and optimize AI workflow automation that handles dynamic customer requirements and business scenarios
• Ensure AI system reliability, scalability, and compliance with industry regulations
• Implement comprehensive performance monitoring to track AI output quality, accuracy, and relevance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI agents with existing business processes and systems

Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years hands-on with production generative AI systems (agentic AI, RAG, or LLM-based applications)
• Proven track record working for a Born in the Cloud or Cloud‑Native technology company - Must have
• Strong, current TypeScript / Node.js backend experience - comfortable owning production services end to end (API design, async workflows, testing, deployment)
• Platform-architecture mindset - experience designing shared services, APIs, and infrastructure that other teams build on, and reasoning about scalability, multi-tenancy, and long-term maintainability
• Fullstack capability - able to build and integrate frontend interfaces (TypeScript, e.g. React) when needed, even if backend is your primary strength
• Experience building agentic / RAG systems in the TypeScript ecosystem, not only Python - comfortable when the tooling is less mature than the Python equivalent
• Proven track record of building AI agents that can autonomously handle complex tasks and decision-making
• Strong experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and document processing pipelines
• Experience with production deployment of AI systems including monitoring, testing, and optimization
• Proven experience designing quality metrics, feedback loops, and continuous improvement processes for AI systems
• Knowledge of enterprise-grade AI infrastructure and MLOps practices
• Knowledge of AI safety, ethics, and compliance requirements
• Fluency in English
