Senior Accountant (Remote / Work From Home)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented, and team-driven Senior Accountant to join our fully remote finance team. This role is ideal for a former auditor with solid accounting fundamentals, experience in group consolidation, and strong exposure to multi-entity, multi-currency environments. You will play an integral role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting across our regional entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage full sets of accounts across multiple entities and currencies.
  
  
• Perform monthly group consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, and eliminations.
• Manage multi-currency accounting and FX revaluations.
  
  
• Support timely month-end and year-end close processes.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial policies.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure accurate data flow between Finance, Operations, and Product teams.
  
  
• Collaborate virtually with regional finance teams, product, and operations.
• Take a hands-on role in daily accounting operations, audits, and compliance activities.
  
  
• Work hands-on with cloud-based systems like Xero and consolidation tools to streamline processes.
  
  
• Contribute proactively to a collaborative and remote work culture.
• Be an active contributor in finance transformation initiatives, including process automation and workflow optimization.
  
  
• Collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, Tech) to ensure financial accuracy.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of audit experience, preferably with exposure to technology or multinational clients.
  
  
• Experience in group consolidation and intercompany accounting.
  
  
• Proven track record in multi-entity and multi-currency accounting.
  
  
• Proficient in Xero and other cloud-based accounting/consolidation tools.
  
  
• Self-starter with excellent time management in a remote working environment.
  
  
• A true team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  
  
• Hands-on, detail-focused, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
  
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  
  
• Professional certification or progress toward ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is a plus.
  
  
• Comfortable working across different time zones within Asia Pacific and Europe.
