Senior 3D Props Artist

At Side, we work alongside some of the world's leading developers and innovators to create immersive interactive experiences that combine cutting-edge technology with exceptional user engagement.

We are currently seeking an experienced 3D Props/Asset Artist to create high-quality, game-ready assets and hero props that meet the visual and technical standards of a AAA development pipeline, with a semi-realistic visual aesthetic, for use in Unreal Engine 5.

We are particularly interested in artists whose portfolios demonstrate strong prop creation and environment asset development, including:

• Hero props
• Statues and architectural assets
• Rocks and natural environment pieces such as terrain assets
• Graveyard and cemetery assets

This role is available on a short-term contract basis only, paid on an hourly rate as listed. As these are project-based opportunities, positions may be amended, postponed, or withdrawn as a result of changing client requirements and project priorities.

Requirements

• Solid experience as a 3D props artist creating game-ready assets
• Strong understanding of modeling, texturing, UV workflows, and PBR material creation.
• Experience with industry-standard tools such as Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine 5.
• Ability to interpret concept art while making thoughtful artistic decisions when details are undefined.
