Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Security Systems Integrator to join our team! In this role you will get to install and program complex electronic security systems (ESS) equipment and components; communication equipment; and infrastructure to support ESS, communication systems and power systems.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a minimum SECRET clearance, or the ability to obtain one.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Command, control, and display equipment.
• Access control and credentialing systems.
• CCTV cameras and video management servers.
• Sensors such as motion detectors, balanced magnetic switches, vibration detectors, buried line sensors, fiber optic sensor systems, and radars.
• Networking Equipment such as switches, routers and firewalls.
• Use diagnostic tools and data to develop solutions to complex problems.
• Read blueprints and system wiring schematics.
• Utilize controlled documentation and government standards, application guides, and industry best practices to complete onsite installations at various locations, worldwide
• Use Active Directory to setup systems.
• Database setup and administration with SQL.
• Provide Maintenance and Administrator Level training on Integrated Systems.
• Provide project status/updates to the respective project manager.
• Provide training, assistance, and feedback to develop excellent technicians.
• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC).

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Associates degree or equivalent.
• Technical or service school graduate.
• Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or equivalent on-the-job work experience.
• Additional system specific training will be provided.
• 5 years of experience in ESS or Low Voltage required for position.
• Must possess a strong knowledge of electronic component characteristics to aid in the selection of replacement components and devices.
• Experience maintaining ESS systems.
• Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) experience. Must be Honeywell – Vindicator certified or held a certification within the last year and can re-certify.
• PSG VICADS certification is a plus.
• Network/CISCO certifications a plus.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Must be able to attain a security clearance.
• Additional Certifications in IDS, ACS and CCTV systems is desired
• Licensure and/or Certification - Must possess a valid driver license.
• Technical Skills/Knowledge - Knowledge of basic electricity and electronics. Demonstrable knowledge and experience in the correct and safe use of hand and power tools, soldering iron, and test equipment; ability to install and maintain CCTV, surveillance video cameras and access control equipment.
• Regulatory Knowledge - Working knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly assimilate information related to State, and Federal regulations, legislation, guidelines, policies and procedures. Ability to understand and followgovernmental rules and regulations on electronic security system installation and maintenance.
• Analytical/Procedural Skills - Must be analytical, detail-oriented, and able to analyze problems, identify causative factors, and apply actions to effectively resolve current issues and prevent recurrences of problem conditions.
• Decision Making/Problem Solving and Judgement - Must demonstrate an ability to accurately identify issues and problems, and determine optimal courses of action and outcomes.
• Organizational Skills - Must be organized, flexible, and able to prioritize in a multi-demand and constantly changing environment without sacrificing accuracy or timeliness.
• Interpersonal Skills - Must exercise excellent interpersonal skills - position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, diplomacy, and an ability to establish and maintain effective working/professional relationships with internal and external customers.
• Safety - Must be able to work in a safe manner at all times, avoiding shortcuts that have potential adverse results/risks, and must be able to comply with safety standards and best practices.
• Computer Systems / Hardware / Software - Must possess appropriate levels of proficiency with utilized software and computer systems and be able to learn new software/systems.
• Confidentiality - Must be able to responsibly handle sensitive and confidential information and situations, and maintenance and dissemination of information.
• OSHA 30-hour construction training.
• Additional system specific training will be provided.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook.

Security Clearance Requirement:

A security clearance is not required to apply; however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. citizenship, prior to the start date.

Salary Range: $42.50 - $74.38
