Summary: The Workforce Group a LEMOINE company, is seeking a motivated and experienced Seasonal Recruiter to join our team to support our team during the Disaster Season. The ideal candidate will have a background in high volume fast paced recruiting for disaster and emergency response positions. This role is critical in ensuring we have the right personnel to respond effectively to emergencies and disasters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs for disaster and emergency response positions.
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Screen and evaluate candidates to ensure they meet the required qualifications and experience.
  • Conduct interviews and coordinate with hiring managers to facilitate the selection process.
  • Manage the candidate pipeline and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in the recruitment process.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualification, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in emergency management, disaster recovery, or related fields is preferred. Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in disaster and emergency response or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of disaster and emergency response roles and qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Familiarity with OFCCP compliance or federal/state hiring guidelines.
  • Familiarity with federal and state regulations related to disaster and emergency response staffing.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
