School Counselor

CPDLF is looking for a dynamic and passionate School Counselor who is willing to help us to continue to develop a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes equity, access, and belonging for all learners.  Our PA certified School Counselor will collaborate with other members of the CPDLF to meet the needs of our learners in academics, career-planning, and social-emotional development.   This position could be a part time position or a full time position depending on the ideal candidate.

Must have appropriate PA certification for School Counseling as well as experience working with families in high at-risk situations.  Experience working in a virtual setting preferred.

CPDLF is a 24/7 asynchronous K to 12 PA cyber school that serves learners and families across the state of PA.   Learners have access to their learning platforms at all times and are encouraged to take ownership of their learning.  Our main office is located in Altoona, PA and we have Drop In Learning Centers in the Altoona Logan Valley Mall and in Stroudsburg, PA.

Candidates selected for hiring will need to have all of their paperwork, clearances, and other new hire tasks completed immediately upon hiring.  Acceptable PA State Police, Child Abuse, FBI Clearances, and Act 168 forms required to be hired.
