SAP FICO Functional Lead – VAT & E-Invoicing Specialist

YOUR MISSION

• Lead the design and implementation of global VAT and indirect tax processes within an international SAP S/4HANA rollout

• Act as the key advisor for tax-related SAP topics, ensuring compliance while supporting business transformation objectives

• Define and harmonize VAT processes, tax determination logic, and compliance requirements across multiple countries and business units

• Partner with Finance, Tax, IT, and external stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into scalable SAP solutions

• Support the implementation and adoption of tax-related functionality, including e-Invoicing and digital reporting requirements, where applicable

• Drive process standardization and ensure global alignment while balancing local compliance needs

• Provide expert guidance during testing, rollout, deployment, and hypercare phase

YOUR EXPERIENCE & TALENTS

• Extensive experience in SAP FI within international SAP transformation or rollout programs

• Strong expertise in global VAT, indirect tax, and compliance processes across multinational environments

• Proven track record designing and implementing tax solutions within SAP S/4HANA

• Ability to bridge the gap between Finance, Tax, and IT stakeholders, translating regulatory requirements into practical SAP solutions

• Experience supporting global template design, deployment, adoption, and governance activities

• Professional fluency in English

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with e-Invoicing, digital reporting, or electronic compliance initiatives

• Background as a SAP Tax Solution Architect, SAP DRC Consultant, or SAP FI/CO Lead

• Knowledge of SAP Document & Reporting Compliance (DRC)

• Experience in multinational manufacturing or industrial environments

• German proficiency
