SAP FI Consultant

This is a remote position.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant with 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance, including SAP S/4HANA implementations and production support. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in SAP FI configuration, business process analysis, FI-SD integration, functional design, testing, and stakeholder-facing consulting engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP FI solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments.
  
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
  
• Support FI-SD integration and related business processes.
  
• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and change requests.
  
• Convert business requirements into functional and high-level technical designs.
  
• Develop test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
  
• Support scheduling and monitoring of batch jobs.
  
• Provide production support and issue resolution.
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership.
  
• Work independently while contributing to overall project success.
  

Required Qualifications

• 6-8 years of SAP FI experience.
  
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI configurations, transactions, tables, and reporting.
  
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience.
  
• Expertise in:
  
• New GL
  
• Accounts Payable (AP)
  
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
  
• Cost Center Accounting
  
• Profit Center Accounting
  
• Strong FI-SD integration experience.
  
• Experience preparing functional specifications.
  
• Experience translating business requirements into solution designs.
  
• Strong testing experience including test planning and execution.
  
• Experience scheduling and monitoring batch jobs.
  
• Hands-on production support experience.
  
• Client-facing consulting experience.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor.
  

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Exposure to resource-related billing processes.
  
• Experience with SAP Project Systems (PS).
  
• Knowledge of professional services or project-based business processes.
