SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Specialist

• Relevant Experience Required: 4+ years of dedicated design, configuration, and implementation experience within SAP EWM
  
• Mandatory Certification: SAP Certified Application Associate - Extended Warehouse Management (S/4HANA preferred)
  

• Configure core SAP EWM master data and structures, including Storage Types, Storage Sections, Storage Bins, Activity Areas, and Work Centers.
  
• Design advanced inbound and outbound processing flows, configuring Slotting, Putaway/Picking Strategies, Waves Management, Deconsolidation, and Cross-Docking.
  
• Implement internal warehouse control strategies, managing physical inventory counting cycles, posting changes, stock replenishment, and ad-hoc stock movements.
  
• Configure Warehouse Order Creation Rules (WOCR) to optimize the execution paths for material handlers, warehouse operators, and automated equipment.
  
• Deploy mobile execution interfaces, setting up and testing Radio Frequency (RF) frameworks, screen layouts, mobile queues, and barcode scanning routines.
  
• Collaborate with technical ABAP teams to design custom functional specifications (RICEFW) for RF transactions, shipping labels, custom handling unit (HU) processing, and monitoring dashboards.
  
• Orchestrate seamless module cross-integration, managing clean queue communication between SAP EWM and adjacent systems like SAP MM, SD, PP, and TM (Transportation Management).
  

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of core SAP warehouse management experience, with 4+ dedicated years actively designing and deploying configurations in embedded or decentralized SAP EWM.
  
• Strong technical mastery of the EWM Warehouse Management Monitor, delivery processing pipelines, Post Processing Framework (PPF), and structural mapping tables.
  
• Deep structural understanding of logistics execution, supply chain distributions, material tracking controls, and handling unit management (HUM).
  
• Mandatory certification: SAP Certified Application Associate - Extended Warehouse Management.
  

• Prior S/4HANA conversion experience, specifically with Embedded EWM architectures or advanced optimization engines.
  
• Experience configuring Material Flow Systems (MFS) to integrate SAP EWM directly with automated storage/retrieval systems (ASRS) or conveyor hardware.
