SAP Business Warehouse and SAP Business Objects

Position Summary 

K.L. Scott & Associates, LLC seeks an SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and SAP Business Objects (BOBJ) professional to develop reporting and analytical solutions for federal clients. This role connects source data to trusted reports and helps stakeholders understand operational performance through consistent measures.

Core Responsibilities 

• Gather reporting requirements and define data sources, business rules, measures, and acceptance criteria. 
• Develop and maintain BW data models, extraction processes, transformations, data loads, and process chains. 
• Create and maintain BOBJ universes, Web Intelligence reports, and scheduled report distribution. 
• Reconcile source data with reporting outputs and investigate data quality or processing issues. 
• Optimize queries and reports and coordinate data access with security and system administration teams. 
• Support user testing and maintain report definitions, data lineage, technical documentation, and user guidance. 

Required Qualifications 

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. 
• At least five years of experience working on the SAP platform. 
• At least 15 years of relevant experience. 
• Experience supporting federal government programs. 
• Proficiency in SAP BW modeling and data processing, BOBJ reporting, and SQL. 
• Ability to translate business questions into validated measures, effective reports, and clear data definitions. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with SAP Student Lifecycle Management (SLcM) and Federal Department of War (DOW) programs is preferred 
• Secret Clearance eligible.
