Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP BDC Consultant with proven expertise in SAP and Databricks to support a customer project. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical experience, be comfortable working independently, and have the ability to drive project deliverables from requirements through completion.
This is an initial 4-month contract opportunity, with the potential for extension or conversion to a full-time position based on project requirements, business needs, and individual performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver effective SAP and Databricks solutions.
- Design, develop, configure, and support solutions involving SAP and Databricks technologies.
- Independently own assigned project deliverables and ensure timely completion.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Support data integration, transformation, and processing between SAP and Databricks environments.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective resolutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAP, data engineering, architecture, and business teams.
- Participate in solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to project deliverables.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and potential technical challenges and communicate them to project stakeholders.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality, performance, and project standards.
Required Qualifications
- Proven professional experience as an SAP Consultant / SAP Data Consultant.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and data engineering/data platform concepts.
- Experience working with SAP data and integrating SAP environments with modern data platforms.
- Ability to independently manage assigned tasks and drive deliverables to completion.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in enterprise environments with multiple technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP data integration and data migration.
- Experience with Databricks workflows, data pipelines, and related data engineering technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and modern data architecture.
- Experience with SAP data models and enterprise data environments.
- Experience working on large-scale transformation or data modernization initiatives.
