We are looking for a Salesforce Health Cloud Developer II designs, develops, tests, documents, implements, and supports Salesforce Health Cloud solutions. In this role, you will deliver application customizations, integrate third-party software and enterprise systems, partner with the Salesforce Health Cloud Administrator and cross-functional teams, monitor critical workflows, and resolve or escalate technical issues.

What You Will Do
- Application Customization & Integration: Analyze, design, and develop code for system interfaces and data integration services using Salesforce APIs (SOAP and REST). Convert logical designs into efficient code and participate in peer code reviews.
- Software Evaluation & Support: Evaluate, support, and test vendor-supplied software. Assess compatibility, install upgrades and patches, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- System Design & UX: Research available modules and gain a deep understanding of supporting business processes. Assist in designing user interfaces and workflows aligned with business needs.
- Agile Development: Participate in project status meetings within Agile Scrum and test-driven development practices—including user stories, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Testing & QA: Develop test plans with guidance from lead developers, prepare test data, execute system testing, evaluate defects, and revise code accordingly.
- Documentation & Support: Create technical reports, system design documents, instructional materials, and program documentation. Provide day-to-day user support, debug system issues, and document change-control activities.
- Collaboration & On-Call: Coordinate across departments to communicate the impact of upgrades, fixes, and process changes. Participate in on-call support, including occasional weekend or evening deployments.

Clearances & Security
- U.S. Citizenship: Required.
- Clearance: Ability to receive a favorable interim and final adjudicated Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (with programming and database coursework) OR equivalent hands-on experience.
- General Development: 3+ years of general application development and support experience.
- Salesforce Health Cloud: 3+ years of direct, hands-on Salesforce Health Cloud development experience (general Salesforce experience in a healthcare organization does not fulfill this requirement).
- Salesforce Government Cloud: Hands-on development experience in a Salesforce Government Cloud or Government Cloud Plus environment (working for a government contractor without direct GovCloud platform experience does not fulfill this requirement).
- DevOps & CI/CD: 1+ year of experience with a Salesforce DevOps toolset and CI/CD practices.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in JavaScript, Salesforce Flows, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOAP, and REST APIs.
- Methodologies & Tools: Practical experience in an Agile environment using Jira (or similar tooling).

Your resume must clearly identify the specific projects where you used Salesforce Government Cloud and Salesforce Health Cloud, detailing your explicit responsibilities, modules used, and exact dates of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of general application development and support experience.
- Salesforce Certifications: Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, and/or Platform Developer II.
- Experience with the Aura framework, OmniScript, and Einstein Analytics.
- Technical domain knowledge involving healthcare systems or government contract systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
