KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead go-to-market entry for VFD products in Saudi Arabia, given this is a brand-new market for the company.
• Conduct market research and develop the local market development strategy and business plan.
• Identify, recruit and manage local distributors, channel partners and system integrators.
• Develop industry, project and key account customers directly, coordinating with the remote technical support team on pre-sales solutioning.
• Coordinate internal resources (HQ sales, engineering, logistics) to meet agreed sales targets.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers as the local base is established.
• Plan and execute local marketing activities (trade shows, technical seminars, digital presence).
• Collect and report on competitor activity, pricing and market intelligence to HQ.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years of sales experience in AC drives / VFD or closely related industrial automation products.
• Proven track record building a market, channel or distributor network from scratch is a strong plus, given the greenfield nature of this role.
• Established relationships with industrial end-users, EPCs, panel builders or system integrators in Saudi Arabia.
• Comfortable working autonomously in-market while coordinating closely with a remote technical support team based overseas.
• Fluent Arabic and English required.
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, Saudi Arabia.
