This individual will have ownership of a portfolio and will bring ideas and a can-do attitude to grow this business. The perfect candidate will be tenacious about growing their accounts through mostly face to face interactions with sales visits, product demonstrations, partner events, tradeshows and exhibitions. There may also be a need for telesales and webinars. We are looking for someone who will be keen to ensure our travel partners are supported and will therefore work closely with our customer support teams to help drive strong results. 

The ideal candidate will be motivated by the pursuit of growing revenue and looking for new business opportunities. They will be invited to think outside the box and bring a fresh perspective to the team. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to develop strategies to grow their portfolio whilst being offered a huge amount of support and training from a nurturing company and team. They will be provided with the tools and the data to help lead them to success.  They will be sales driven, analytical and with an appetite to learn and support a team.

National travel will be required.  
  • Deep understanding of the travel trade landscape, including tour operators, OTAs, retail agents, airline partners, and platform providers
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills, with the ability to diagnose complex partner needs and develop strategic, value-driven solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage national and strategic accounts, with experience influencing and building credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities, able to interpret portfolio data and market intelligence and translate findings into actionable account strategies
  • Experience working cross-functionally with customer operations, sales support, marketing, and analytics teams to deliver integrated partner solutions
  • Proficient in Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms, along with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated with strong commercial acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and high ethical standards
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority accounts and competing demands effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to accurately diagnose known and unknown partner business needs and translate needs into opportunities and appropriate product offering. 
  • Strong business development skills and with the ability to translate benefits into the partner’s business language to prove value. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate and to form strong business relationships face to face and remotely; including fundamental presentation skills and the demonstrated ability to articulate ideas clearly and appropriately influence others 
  • Ability to identify travel agent partners with strong fit and which have the opportunity for long term growth.
  • Language Skills: must be proficient inChinesewith good English-speaking skills ideally.
  • Availability to travel within Malaysia
