You will work within our Credit Control function, managing outstanding debts and maintaining positive relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders — giving you genuine exposure to the financial heartbeat of a leading TIC organisation.

About Central Services

Based in Burton-on-Trent, SOCOTEC UK's Head Office houses our Central Services teams. These teams provide a corporate structure to support the wider business. Central Services is broken down into five main areas: Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, Finance, and IT. Each of these areas is vital to the day-to-day running of SOCOTEC.

Job Description

Ensure cash is posted and allocated in a timely manner. Creating sales invoices and sending out to clients. Assisting with general admin for the sales ledger and credit control team. Managing our dispute process:

• Posting and allocating cash receipts
• Setting up new customer accounts
• Creating sales invoices.
• Working with the credit control team to facilitate timely payments
• Dispute Management

Qualifications

We are seeking someone with:

4 x GCSE's at grades C/4, including English and maths
An ability to develop and foster working relationships with customers and colleagues
Good use of your initiative
Excellent communication skills
A keen eye for details and be able to produce accurate work
The ability to work in an organised fashion, to achieve deadlines
