In this job you are primarily responsible for:
Location: Northeast Cascades Sales Territory
The Northeast Cascades Sales Territory covers the northeast portion of Washington, including key markets such as Spokane (and Liberty Lake) and Wenatchee. The territory’s landscape spans from the Spokane River region to the Cascade foothills and valley communities, creating a mix of suburban growth, regional hubs, and strong rural/agricultural economies. It is the 2nd largest territory in Washington state geographically.
Key cities & hubs:
The Northeast Cascades is a “hub-and-spoke” market—where success comes from coordinating strong execution in Spokane/Wenatchee while building consistent momentum across surrounding rural communities. The best opportunities for sustained growth typically come from (a) strengthening multi-line penetration, (b) improving onboarding and customer experience consistency across agents, and (c) identifying local micro-markets where demographic and economic trends are driving demand.

The annual salary for this role is $200,000 and employees are not eligible for annual merit increases. Employees may be eligible for a biweekly geographic differential based on the location from which an employee is working.
Employees may be eligible to participate in incentive programs, including a quarterly bonus and an annual bonus.
The total compensation opportunity, including an annual salary and potential incentive pay eligibility for this position is $200,000 - $310,000 with the possibility for incentive earnings to exceed this range. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed, and eligibility is contingent upon successful completion of all applicable licensing and securities registration.
Remote Work Arrangement: The Sales Leader role is a remote position which requires the selected candidate to work out of his/her home and will require periodic travel to conduct/attend meetings and/or seminars, training, conferences.
Licensing
This position requires you to obtain/maintain all applicable FINRA licensing exams (Securities Industry Essentials, Series 6, Series 63, and Series 65 or equivalent), sponsorship from State Farm VP Management Corp (SFVPMC) and State Farm Investment Management Corp. (SFIMC), and that you become registered and remain in good standing as required by SFVPMC, SFIMC and FINRA. To confirm eligibility for sponsorship, you will complete a contingent credit check and fingerprints. This is in addition to the pre-employment background check. You will be required to sign a Securities Registration Agreement upon hire.
This position requires you to obtain/maintain state insurance licenses and certifications, and all other applicable licensing and certifications for the role including, but not limited to, LTC Certification, Annuities Certification and potential state securities licensing as applicable.
If you do not currently hold all applicable licensing, certifications, and registration, they must be obtained within approximately 3 months of your start date. During this time period, you will be placed in a temporary Licensing Candidate – UNS job in a non-exempt status while obtaining your required licensing, securities registration, and certifications. Once all required licensing, securities registration, and certifications are complete and verified, you will be placed into the Sales Leader job at the start of the next pay period.
