Emerson Branson is looking for a Sales Engineer for its office based in Rungis (94) in France. He/she should ideally be located in North West of France, working remotely in order to cover his/her dedicated sales territory (North West quarter of France).

The primary objective of the role is to effectively manage customer relationships and sales processes to drive growth and ensure customer satisfaction in the designated geographical area.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Actively visit new and existing customers to promote the entire solution portfolio and services and seek out new opportunities for business. Monitor the marketplace and gather intelligence to identify early opportunities in the designated territory and devise strategies to maximize success.
  • Follow strategic goals and initiatives to build credibility for yourself and the company, forge strong relationships and acquire an insider’s perspective on the customer’s business to drive adoption of the portfolio.
  • Active usage of sales productivity tools like CRM, CPQ (configure, price, quote), delivering an accurate order forecast and following opportunities (offers, documentation, quality complaints, projects).
  • Provide competitive, technical, and commercial input for each proposal and support in the proposal process. Provide dedicated customers facing focus and develop sales and growth strategies in the defined territory to achieve and exceed bookings and growth targets ensuring consistency with Branson strategies
  • Organize and conduct customer and prospect visits to identify and understand their needs.
  • Propose and negotiate tailored solutions, supported by the technical team, and close sales.
  • Promote company products in collaboration with Market Specialists and cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze and address major customer complaints, coordinating with Quality and After-Sales Service.
  • Prepare and conduct customer meetings, updating weekly reports and tracking KPI metrics.
  • Participate in trade shows and events, contributing to marketing and organizational efforts.
  • Maintain product and technology knowledge to support customer equipment handling and order fulfilment.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Sales and commercial knowledge
  • Technical training in Mechanics or Electronics
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Package
  • English fluency.
  • Industry experience.
  • Willingness to travel (minimum 60-70% of the time),  and a valid driving license 

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Advanced studies in engineering field
  • Technical sales experience will be an advantage
  • Understanding of the external environment, including market trends, competitors, customers, and suppliers.
  • Familiarity with plastic materials
