Our client is an AI-powered language technology company offering instant speech, text, and photo translation across 137 languages, with features like voice cloning, offline mode, and an AI assistant. The company is scaling its go-to-market efforts and is building out its sales function from the ground up.


We're hiring a Spanish-speaking Sales Development Representative to work directly alongside the founder/sales lead as the first dedicated sales hire. This is a builder role: you won't just work leads, you'll help design, test, and improve the sales process itself — from outreach scripts and CRM setup to qualification criteria and follow-up cadences. You'll have direct, daily access to leadership and real influence over how the sales system takes shape.

What You'll Do

       Prospect, qualify, and engage new leads across English- and Spanish-speaking markets

       Run outbound and inbound sales conversations via phone, email, and chat

       Partner with the founder to design and refine sales workflows, scripts, and playbooks

       Set up and maintain CRM pipelines, tracking, and reporting

       Test messaging and outreach approaches, then help formalize what works into repeatable process

       Provide market and customer feedback to inform product and pricing decisions

       Support the transition from founder-led sales to a scalable, documented sales system



Requirements

What We're Looking For

       Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written) — non-negotiable

       Prior experience in sales, SDR/BDR, or customer-facing roles (SaaS or app-based products a plus)

       Comfortable working closely with a founder in a fast-moving, low-process environment

       Strong communicator who can build rapport quickly and handle objections confidently

       Organized and process-minded — excited to help build systems, not just follow them

       Self-starter who's equally comfortable on the phone and in a spreadsheet or CRM

       Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, or similar) preferred

Nice to Have

       Experience selling to consumer or B2C audiences, especially subscription/app-based products

       Familiarity with the language-learning, translation, or ed-tech space

       Track record of helping build a sales process from scratch (early-stage startup experience)
