We are currently looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. This role would be best suited for someone who is highly self-motivated and professional, and a confident communicator.

 

The Role


As we continue to grow and expand our sales team, we’re looking for a motivated and professional SDR to focus on the initial stage of the sales cycle. In this role, you’ll be responsible for generating and qualifying leads through outbound outreach to organizations across British Columbia. Your main objective will be to make the first contact by generating interest to book meetings.


This role is heavily phone-based, and success will depend on your willingness and confidence to consistently make outbound calls. If you’re not afraid to pick up the phone and start conversations with prospects, this could be a great fit for you.


The SDR reports directly to the Business Development Manager and is the primary driver of outbound leads.

This is a remote position. Our team typically works Monday to Friday with flexible start times.  


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct 60-100 outbound phone calls daily to organizations in British Columbia to introduce our Managed IT services, following up with e-mails
  • Generate interest and qualify potential clients based on specific criteria
  • Schedule meetings and hand off qualified leads to our Business Development Manager
  • Accurately document all outreach and lead activity in our CRM (Hubspot)
  • Identify prospect needs and align them with our service offerings
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to optimize outreach strategies

 

Requirements:


  • Excellent verbal communication skills; confident and clear on the phone
  • Good active listening and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, self-driven, and target-focused
  • Willingness to learn the basics of IT services and solutions
  • Previous experience in outbound sales, customer outreach, or lead generation preferred


Nice to Have:


  • Experience with Hubspot
  • Experience with the MSP industry
  • Knowledge of the BC and Canadian business environment
