Job Description

Sales, Clinical Strategy Specialist, Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics (Regional – Western US)

The Clinical Strategy Specialist will provide dedicated clinical transformation capacity across strategic Philips Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics accounts. These roles are necessary to advance customers through goal driven maturity models, standardize pathway development, improve clinical and operational outcomes, support the commercial sales team, and translate proven clinical value into sustainable account growth.

Your role:

  • You will shape the clinical strategy for key customer partnerships by aligning ambulatory monitoring programs to customer goals, growth opportunities, and measurable value.  You will partner closely with Account Executives and customer leaders to uncover clinical needs, strengthen relationships, and support long-term retention and expansion.
  • You will assess customer clinical programs and create practical roadmaps that advance monitoring maturity across service lines, workflows, and enterprise initiatives.  You will design and implement evidence-based care pathways, standardized protocols, and optimized workflows that improve patient selection, utilization, outcomes, and operational efficiency.
  • You will serve as a trusted clinical subject matter expert, educating healthcare professionals and guiding multidisciplinary teams through meaningful, sustainable change.  You will build relationships with physician champions, nursing leadership, operational teams, quality organizations, and executive sponsors to accelerate adoption and program success.
  • You will define success measures, monitor clinical and operational performance, and lead business reviews that highlight outcomes, customer impact, and opportunities for continued improvement.  You will translate clinical results into compelling operational, financial, and strategic value stories that position Philips as a trusted partner in improving care.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience with a current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • You have a minimum of three years of progressive clinical experience in cardiovascular care, electrophysiology, emergency medicine, critical care, neurology, ambulatory care, or related specialties.
  • You have demonstrated success developing and implementing clinical care pathways, workflow optimization initiatives, or quality improvement programs.
  • You have a strong knowledge of ambulatory cardiac monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, arrhythmia management, and evidence-based clinical practice.  You have experience leading multidisciplinary initiatives and collaborating with physicians, nursing, operations, information technology, and executive leadership.
  • You have exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.  You can translate clinical expertise into measurable business value and manage multiple strategic customer initiatives.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records, Microsoft Office applications, and business analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75 % or as required.  The Region includes the following states: CA, WA, OR, TX, ID, MT, WY, UT, AK, HI, AZ, CO, W. KS, AZ. NM, OK, NV.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is a field role.
