Job Description

Our International Sales team is currently seeking a Sales Assistant to join their global team. The International Sales Assistant will provide general administrative and sales support to the Associate Sales Director, as well as to the sales teams responsible for selling English language titles within Asia. The candidate would not only learn about sales, but also about marketing and publicity. Job Responsibilities: 

• Support the coordination and execution of dropshipment and local reprints for Asia and BCW territories. 

• Prepare and circulate DSCs and P&Ls for reprint and dropshipment projects.  

• Facilitate the returns process for sales managers in Asia. 

• Develop materials for customer meetings and sales presentations, including PowerPoint decks, title lists, reports, and sell sheets for sales managers in Asia.  

• Run sales reports for sales managers in Asia.  

•  Create curated title lists and assemble digital assets to support customer requests and sales outreach.  

• Assist with the development of customer-requested catalogs, newsletters, and other sales support materials.  

• Design and produce monthly newsletters, incorporating guides, videos, and related assets where appropriate.  

• Support traffic-driving efforts to the international sales website through content planning and creation. 

• Partner with colleagues across the team to support the creation of bi-annual education catalogs.  

• Process orders and manage the international education inbox.  

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Proven ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environment 

• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills 

• Excellent time management and organizational skills 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 

• Prior office or publishing experience preferred 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Interest in learning about account management 

• Ability to speak and/or read a foreign language 

• Experience with Business Objects or PowerBI

This position is open to remote.
