About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Account Management Director to own and grow Surecomp’s strategic banking relationships in the Philippines while identifying new business opportunities across the local banking market.
The role combines executive account management of several of the country’s largest banking institutions with selective new logo acquisition and market development activities.
You will be responsible for building and strengthening long-term relationships with large-scale banking customers, including senior and C-level executives, and for identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts and across the local banking market.
This role requires a highly driven and relationship-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and is eager to make a strong impact within a growing technology company.
Location: Manila, Philippines (Remote).
Travel: Frequent local travel within the Philippines.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary executive relationship owner for strategic banking customers in the Philippines.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Drive customer retention, expansion, and long-term account growth.
- Manage customer satisfaction and executive engagement throughout the account lifecycle.
- Act as the executive commercial owner for customer escalations, strategic reviews, and major project governance discussions.
- Manage and grow relationships with large banking accounts, including senior stakeholders and C-level executives.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts and drive account expansion.
- Collaborate with internal teams (solution consultants, delivery, product management) to tailor solutions and ensure customer success.
- Support customer escalations and work closely with delivery teams to ensure strong customer engagement and alignment.
- Provide ongoing input from customers to product and delivery teams to enhance offerings.
- Identify new business opportunities within the Philippines banking market, including selective new bank logos and SaaS opportunities for smaller and mid-sized banks.
- Manage complex sales and account development processes, including lead qualification, proposals, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline data and forecasts for management.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory and account plan aligned with company goals.
- Represent the company in customer meetings, industry events, conferences, and local networking activities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competition, and market dynamics in the Philippines banking and fintech ecosystem.
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales or strategic account management in the high-tech, fintech, banking technology, or financial software industry.
- Proven experience managing strategic banking relationships and/or selling complex banking technology solutions into Tier 1 banks or financial institutions.
- Experience managing long sales cycles and complex decision-making processes with multiple stakeholders.
- Background in selling to or managing large banking customers, preferably in the Philippines market.
- Exposure to transaction banking, trade finance, cash management, payments, lending, core banking, digital banking, or related banking technology environments.
- Experience in relationship selling and managing senior stakeholders within banks or financial institutions.
- Strong local market understanding and network within the Philippines banking ecosystem, preferably in Manila.
- Excellent English, both written and spoken, along with fluency in Tagalog.
