Job Summary:
Supports safety and environmental programs by conducting basic inspections and documenting observations. Assists with preparing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), tracking corrective actions, and coordinating training logistics. Maintains records, PPE inventories, and safety communication materials. Escalates hazards and supports incident reporting and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists with routine site walks and documents hazards and observations.
Supports prepration of JHAs and supports pre-task planning and toolbox talks.
Tracks corrective actions and follows up on closure.
Maintains PPE inventories and distributes materials.
Supports incident reporting, data entry, and trend tracking.
Coordinates training schedules and attendance records.
Supports basic environmental compliance tasks (e.g., waste labeling, spill kits).
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or associates degree in occupational safety, environmental health, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
0–2 years of experience in construction or EHS preferred.
Certifications and Licenses:
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety within 3 months of hire required. First Aid/CPR within 3 months of hire required.
