JOB SUMMARY

We’re seeking an experienced Senior SaaS Solutions Architect (Ruby) to lead the design and delivery of innovative, scalable, and client-centered technical solutions within our professional services organization. In this role, you will partner closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage APIs, integrations, automation, and cloud-based technologies.

This role is ideal for a technically strong, customer-facing consultant who excels at solving complex business challenges, guiding architectural best practices, and mentoring others along the way. As a senior member of the team, you will help shape technical direction across engagements while ensuring quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction from discovery through deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical consulting engagements by facilitating discovery sessions, gathering requirements, and translating business goals into scalable solution architectures.

  • Design, build, test, and deploy custom software solutions using platform capabilities, APIs, integrations, and third-party technologies.

  • Create clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture designs, integration flows, implementation approaches, and solution recommendations.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and partners, helping them understand solution options, technical tradeoffs, and best practices.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on advanced platform capabilities, extensibility scenarios, and API-driven solution design.

  • Review and validate architecture designs created by other team members to promote consistency, quality, and technical excellence.

  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and peer feedback across the architecture team to strengthen delivery quality and team capability.

  • Assess technical feasibility, implementation complexity, and effort estimates in support of sales opportunities, solution scoping, and statements of work.

  • Manage technical project execution, including timelines, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and client communications.

  • Build middleware and integration solutions that automate workflows, connect external systems, and support secure, efficient data migration.

  • Apply strong systems architecture and design pattern knowledge to deliver performant, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

  • Partner with product and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback, identify enhancement opportunities, and surface product gaps.

  • Maintain a strong focus on customer outcomes, solution quality, and delivery excellence across all assigned engagements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in solutions architecture, software development, technical consulting, or a related discipline.

  • 3+ years of customer-facing experience leading technical conversations and delivering solution-based outcomes.

  • Hands-on development experience in two or more languages such as .NET, Node.js, Python, Java, or Ruby.

  • Experience working with SaaS and/or IPaaS applications in enterprise environments.

  • Strong understanding of systems architecture and the ability to design scalable, performance-driven, and resilient solutions.

  • Knowledge of software design patterns, architectural best practices, and large data volume considerations.

  • Experience integrating business systems using APIs, middleware, ETL tools, CRM platforms, reporting environments, or analytics solutions preferred.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to lead projects from concept through completion with a high degree of independence and ownership.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and client expectations effectively.

  • Experience supporting technical scoping, solution estimation, and statement of work development preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience also valued.

The base salary for this position is $106,000 – $150,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays and paid learning days.
