Pay Range

USD $67,657.00 - USD $81,514.00 /Yr.

STAR Bonus % (At Risk Maximum)

5.00 - Salaried Non-Management except pharmacists

Work Schedule Description (e.g. M-F 8am to 5pm)

M-TH 10:30-7:00pm and F 9:30-6:00pm CST

Overview

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a bilingual RN, Clinical Operations to join our team!

 

The RN, Clinical Operations is responsible for delivering patient-centered telephonic education, clinical assessment, and support to patients and caregivers in accordance with established clinical protocols, nursing scope of practice, and applicable regulatory guidelines and accreditation guidelines. This role supports safe and effective therapy use, adherence, persistence, and patient outcomes by identifying patient needs, escalating concerns appropriately, documenting interventions accurately, and supporting compliance, quality, and program requirements. 

The RN, Clinical Operations supports the broader goals of Lumicera by delivering high-quality, patient-centered specialty pharmacy services that improve the patient experience, support safe and effective therapy use, and contribute to strong clinical and operational outcomes.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team? 

  • Conduct clinical assessments and provide disease- and therapy-specific education to patients and caregivers within the nursing scope of practice and established clinical guidelines.
  • Identify and address patient needs related to therapy use, adherence, persistence, adverse effects, and disease-state concerns; triaging to a pharmacist and/or notifying the treating provider when clinically appropriate. 
  • Accurately document clinical assessments, patient interventions, care coordination activities, and clinical notes in the patient record in accordance with internal, client, manufacturer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the planning, implementation, and maintenance of clinical programs and projects that promote patient care, medication adherence, and improved outcomes.
  • Complete required documentation, including adverse event forms and program-specific forms, in accordance with FDA, manufacturer, client, and internal requirements. 
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, clinical team members, manufacturer and client partners, provider offices and clinics to support agreed-upon programs, protocols and patient care needs.
  • Assist with order creation and setup activities, including payment method, copay assistance, order details, and shipment coordination, as needed to support patient and business needs 
  • Maintain clinical competency in the range of treatments and disease states, protocols, and specialty pharmacy services supported by Lumicera. 
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, pharmacy policies and procedures, HIPAA requirements, and applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. 
  • Current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of residence required, with the ability to obtain additional single state licenses as needed. Unrestricted multi-state compact nursing license preferred.
  • 2 years of patient-centered care or disease management nursing experience preferred.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
