Applicants are required to submit a concise technical proposal outlining their understanding of the assignment, proposed methodology and instructional design approach, and plan for revising UNICEF’s RRP learning programme. The proposal should demonstrate how the applicant would revise the current learning programme to update the content and make the learning experience more practical and engaging, in order to support participants in understanding and applying RRP processes and tools in their work.

The proposal should address the following elements:

    1. 2. Methodology and learning design approach: A description of the proposed approach to reviewing existing materials, identifying content and learning gaps, defining learning objectives, structuring and sequencing modules, and developing appropriate instructional methods. Applicants should explain how they would apply adult-learning principles, participatory and experiential learning, practical exercises and assessments to strengthen participants’ understanding and application of the subject matter.
    3. Approach to developing the three programme parts: An explanation of how the applicant would address the distinct requirements of the mandatory online component for all staff and the two in-person components for country offices, while maintaining a common conceptual foundation and ensuring that content, complexity, learning activities and expected competencies are appropriate to each part and its intended audience.

Applicants should identify how this experience would inform their proposed approach to the assignment.
    7. The proposal should be sufficiently specific to allow UNICEF to assess the quality, feasibility and relevance of the applicant’s approach. Generic descriptions of instructional-design methodologies, without explaining how these would be applied to this assignment, will not be sufficient.
