The role you will contribute:
The Business Intelligence (BI) Lead Analyst oversees the Analytics team in transforming data into actionable insights that inform the organization's strategic decisions and drive business value. Possesses a combination of business, technical, and Revenue Cycle operations knowledge, enabling data-driven identification of opportunities for process improvement in support of strategic initiatives. Under minimal supervision of Senior Manager, collaborates with functional area staff across the Revenue Cycle to understand business workflows and build actionable metrics and dashboards to support Revenue Cycle operations. Leads analytics projects, liaising with operational, financial, and IT teams to query and acquire data, organize/ and analyze it, model the data, identify trends and patterns, draw conclusions and propose insights. Collaborates with Revenue Cycle leaders and other functional areas of the Process Improvement and Business Support department to support issue discovery, tracking, and resolution. Presents findings in reports and dashboards to leadership helping them make decisions that improve processes. The BI Lead Analyst will adhere to AdventHealth Corporate Compliance standards, as well as rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
· Bachelor's Degree
· 3+ Work Experience
· Fundamental awareness of data querying techniques (i.e., Structured Query Language, Power Query, Power Pivot)
· Working knowledge of DAX for Power BI
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
· Ability to document findings and clearly communicate analytical outputs
· Advanced knowledge of Excel to organize data, develop data models for analysis, and create visualizations
· Basic knowledge of one or more business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects, QlikView, Oracle Business Intelligence, HPM, Minitab or similar.)
· Proficiency in performance of basic mathematical and statistical concepts (e.g., regression analysis)
· Listens, negotiates and persuades, with use of proper English grammar and spelling, with ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to audiences at all levels
· Ability to solve complex analytics related problems involving large data by using data collection methods, root cause analysis, establishing facts, exercises experience and objective independent judgment to draw valid conclusions
· Ability to multitask, coordinate multiple priorities, projects, and issues in a fast-paced dynamic environment
· Ability to work independently while providing on-time concise, high quality deliverables
· Has an aptitude to extract, aggregate, transform, cleanse, compile and manage data, and can do data modelling and visualization to effectively and objectively tell the story of the data
· Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude, ability to be responsive to ever-changing needs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, meet deadlines and perform
· Ability to coordinate multiple priorities, projects, and issues in a fast-paced dynamic environment to continuously meet deadlines as a highly organized and excellent time manager"
· Upper-Intermediate knowledge of healthcare and Revenue Cycle operations
· Understanding of how healthcare systems and processes work together in producing business information
· Possesses deep knowledge and specialized skill set in understanding business operations and financial flow
· Develops and shares subject matter expertise that can be readily applied to researching issues and designing solutions"
Preferred Qualifications:
· Master's Degree
· Project Management Professional (PMP)
· Microsoft Business Intelligence Certification
· Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
· Healthcare Financial Management Association Membership (HFMA)
