Remote SAM Process & Role Setup Expert

For an international manufacturing environment, we are looking for an experienced Software Asset Management Process Expert to support the improvement of SAM processes, role definitions, governance structures, and ServiceNow SAM Pro configuration requirements.

The role is focused on building clear SAM processes, defining responsibilities across IT, ensuring reliable data capture, and enabling the team to identify optimization opportunities.

• Support the improvement and structuring of Software Asset Management processes.

• Define clear roles and responsibilities across IT, including RACI models.

• Ensure SAM processes are aligned with compliance, optimization, and license management objectives.

• Identify relevant data points required for software and license management.

• Define configuration requirements for ServiceNow SAM Pro.

• Validate the SAM Pro implementation through testing.

• Ensure required data is accurately captured, available, and reliable.

• Support the team in identifying optimization and cost-saving opportunities.

• Coach and upskill internal stakeholders on SAM processes, roles, and best practices.

• Translate SAM process knowledge into practical and actionable improvements.

• Strong experience in Software Asset Management process design.

• Good understanding of SAM governance, compliance, optimization, and operational workflows.

• Experience in defining roles, responsibilities, and RACI structures across IT organizations.

• Experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro or comparable SAM platforms.

• Ability to define data and configuration requirements for SAM tooling.

• Experience in testing and validating SAM tool implementations.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Structured, analytical, and hands-on working style.

• Very good English communication skills.
