(Remote) Part-time Fellow - College of Law

The College of Law at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a (Remote) Part-time Fellow. This position is part-time and non-benefits eligible.

About the Opportunity

The (Remote) Part-time Fellow will provide technical assistance to applicants and potential applicants in submitting successful applications and to successfully complete demolition projects for the Land Redevelopment Initiative program (LRI).

What You'll Do

• Provide technical assistance during implementing of the LRI Program
• Document findings in EXCEL and other reporting formats
• Contribute to the preparation of periodic reports describing the Clinic’s activities as to the LRI program

Work Hours: 15 Hours per Week 

• J.D. From ABA - accredited law school

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of laws, legal codes, government regulations,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word and EXCEL
• Proficiency in Google platforms including Google Docs and Zoom
• Strong ability to multi-task multiple projects
• Ability to write effectively
• Ability to collaborate efficiently with co-investigators of different disciplines

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a real estate office
