Your Leadership Journey

PHASE 1 — Learn the Business & Serve Clients

Great leaders understand the work they're coaching others to perform.

You'll receive hands-on training while working directly with individuals and families through scheduled virtual appointments.

You'll learn how to:

  • Conduct professional Zoom and phone consultations

  • Connect with clients seeking information about available benefits

  • Identify individual and family protection needs

  • Explain life, accident, and supplemental health insurance options

  • Conduct needs-based benefit reviews

  • Recommend appropriate coverage solutions

  • Guide clients through applications and enrollment

  • Build long-term client relationships

  • Provide ongoing policy and client support

  • Maintain accurate documentation

  • Follow company procedures and applicable state requirements

Our approach emphasizes education, service, relationships, and trust—not high-pressure sales tactics.

PHASE 2 — Develop Your Leadership Skills

As you demonstrate proficiency, consistency, and performance, you'll begin developing the skills necessary to lead others.

Leadership development may include:

  • One-on-one coaching with experienced leaders

  • Weekly leadership development sessions

  • Communication and presentation training

  • Goal-setting and accountability systems

  • Performance-management fundamentals

  • Coaching and feedback techniques

  • Team-building strategies

  • Problem-solving and decision-making

  • Time-management and productivity development

  • Professional communication

  • Leadership mindset and personal development

The goal is to develop practical leadership ability—not simply give you a management title.

PHASE 3 — Mentor & Develop Others

Candidates who successfully progress through the program may have opportunities to begin helping newer representatives succeed.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Mentoring newly licensed representatives

  • Assisting with onboarding and development

  • Supporting virtual training sessions

  • Helping representatives strengthen client-service skills

  • Coaching communication and presentation techniques

  • Supporting individual and team performance goals

  • Helping create a positive and accountable team culture

  • Recognizing achievements and identifying development opportunities

This stage allows you to begin transitioning from individual performance to team development.

PHASE 4 — Advance Into Leadership

Successful trainees may qualify for additional leadership and management opportunities based on demonstrated results.

Potential career development paths may include:

Representative → Mentor → Trainer → Team Leadership → Management Development → Advanced Leadership

Advancement is based on factors such as:

  • Performance

  • Consistency

  • Initiative

  • Professional development

  • Accountability

  • Ability to coach others

  • Team contribution

  • Demonstrated leadership ability

Your growth is performance-based—not determined simply by how long you've been with the organization.

  • Renewal income

  • Residual income opportunities

  • Leadership incentives as applicable

  • Recognition programs

  • Additional performance-based rewards
