The HR Leave Specialist provides oversight and support for leave of absence administration, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. They act as a primary contact for colleagues and leaders, managing return-to-work strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate legal and financial risks.
Essential Functions

Minimum Qualifications
Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources, as normally obtained through a Bachelor's degree in a field requiring analysis, three (3) years of leave of absence administration related work experience & / or an equivalent combination of education & experience.
Must possess some knowledge of & experience with leave of absence administration, payroll, or related field.
Experience working in multiple software / computer systems, such as UKG, Kronos, Workday, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & comfortable learning new systems as needed.
Additional Qualifications (nice to have)
Certifications related to Absence Management & / or Human Resources.
Presentations of data-driven reports.
