Compensation & Start Date

We're looking for someone who can start immediately. Latest within the next 4-6 weeks.

This is a freelance engagement paid on an hourly basis, with a rate of €20–30 per hour depending on your experience and portfolio. The weekly volume varies depending on season and project pipeline. During active phases, this typically ranges around 5–10 hours per week, with quieter periods in between. We value a partner who can adapt accordingly.

About SAWOO

SAWOO GmbH is an international, dynamic company based in Germany with around 20 employees. We build and manage communities that bring together C-level executives from major companies. Our goal is to help leaders solve challenges and grow personally and professionally. Members of our communities include executives from companies such as Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Airbus, Amazon, and Siemens. 

In our communities, we currently organize:

  • Around 25 in-person networking events in 7 countries per month

  • 4 conferences in Munich, London, and Paris per year

  • Ongoing digital content across LinkedIn, email, and WhatsApp

Your tasks

Purpose of the Role and Why This Job Matters

Your writing directly shapes how top-level executives learn, connect, and engage with our French-language communities. This role exists for two core reasons.

  • First, to deliver meaningful insights to senior leaders: you craft content that provides clarity, inspiration, and real value to French-speaking decision-makers at major organizations.

  • Second, to attract new executives into our communities: your content helps French-speaking leaders discover what we do, understand the value we create, and convert into active community members.

The quality, consistency, and reach of your writing directly influence our credibility and growth in French-speaking markets.

What Success Looks Like (Measured)

  • Your French-language content generates relevant interactions from our target personas on LinkedIn and via newsletter

  • Deliverables are on time and require minimal revisions

  • You improve your output over time with better hooks, higher engagement, and sharper formatting

  • You understand the audience and write for decision-makers, not for algorithms

What You Will Work On

You will create compelling written content in French, primarily from existing material such as podcast recordings, event insights, and interview transcripts. This includes:

  • LinkedIn posts that capture attention and drive engagement among senior professionals

  • Email newsletters that are insightful and well-structured

  • Podcast show notes and episode descriptions

  • Deep-dive case studies based on expert interviews

  • Interview preparation materials including agendas and key questions

Your profile

Language

Native proficiency in French is a strict requirement, as this is the core of the role. Working knowledge of English is helpful for internal communication (B2 level sufficient). German is not required.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of copywriting or content writing experience, ideally in a B2B or digital media context

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating French-language writing across formats (LinkedIn posts, newsletters, long-form) is required

  • Experience writing for professional or executive audiences is a strong plus

Skills & Tools

  • Comfortable using GenAI tools to enhance efficiency without compromising quality

  • Familiarity with tools like Claude/ChatGPT, Gsuite, Clickup, Sanity or Slack is a plus

Traits

  • Reliable, structured, and proactive. You deliver without being chased

  • Confident in communicating with community hosts and managing deadlines independently

  • Strong sense for tone and audience. You write differently for a CFO than for a general readership

  • Detail-oriented without sacrificing speed

  • Open to feedback and focused on continuous improvement

  • Comfortable on LinkedIn and familiar with what drives engagement on the platform

  • Writing that sounds generic or ignores the target audience

  • Dependence on heavy briefing for every single piece

  • No strong, relevant French writing portfolio
