Registered Dietitian Manager

Base salary range: $82,000 - $88,000 per year, plus performance-based incentives

The opportunity

Sensibly Sprouted is hiring a Registered Dietitian Manager to build and lead a team of dietitians providing outpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). You’ll interview and select each dietitian who joins your team, whether a new hire or an internal transfer. Team members are not assigned to you; you shape the team you lead and are accountable for its development and results.

Internally, this position is called Junior Lead. You’ll have management authority from day one, with support from a Lead or the Chief Dietetics Officer as you handle increasingly complex hiring, staffing, financial, and operational challenges. Your focus is team leadership. You may provide patient care when needed, but the role has no fixed caseload.

What you’ll do

• Interview, select, and onboard dietitians to build your team.
• Coach and develop team members, set expectations, give feedback, and address performance concerns.
• Own team revenue, profitability, retention, and productive capacity; use performance data to identify risks and take action.
• Reinforce clinical, documentation, scheduling, and operational standards, partnering with Clinical Excellence on training needs.
• Manage team workflows and priorities, involving senior leadership when decisions require their input.

What you’ll bring

• A Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
• Applicable state licensure, or eligibility to obtain required licensure.
• Demonstrated ability to coach others, lead initiatives, and improve team performance. A prior manager title is not required.
• Sound judgment, clear communication, dependable follow-through, and comfort using performance data to guide decisions.
• Residence in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Utah, or willingness to relocate to one of these states.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Your growth

Junior Lead provides support and feedback as you gain experience with increasingly complex leadership situations. Advancement to Lead is the expected next step after at least four quarters, once you demonstrate sustained Lead-level capability and performance.
