Advances in clinical care delivery and technology have made it possible to provide exceptional care beyond traditional settings through virtual care. To meet this demand, teams across the Providence footprint must develop and implement market-specific virtual care solutions that address complex compliance, billing, and legal requirements. Serving as a connector across teams, the Regional Virtual Care Program Manager translates local needs into virtual care solutions that support compliance, billing, and legal requirements. The role also provides operational and technical implementation guidance, ranging from consultative support to full project implementation.

Success in this role requires strong collaboration, leadership, communication, program development, advocacy, project management, organization, systems thinking, and the ability to navigate complex environments while driving execution and maintaining quality, efficiency, and financial stewardship. The role also serves as a consultant, manages Regional Virtual Care clinical service records, partners with sites on virtual care technology solutions, and acts as VCDH's main point of contact for regional virtual care services.
