We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused, and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to support the continued growth of our Bus Division throughout Ontario. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, generating new business opportunities, and helping customers find transportation solutions that meet their unique needs.

Reporting to the Vice President, Specialty Vehicles and Canadian Customer Care & Aftermarket, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, prospecting new business opportunities, delivering product presentations, preparing quotations, responding to tenders and RFPs, and managing the sales process from initial contact through vehicle delivery.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys working independently, has strong business acumen, and possesses the drive to grow an established territory while identifying new opportunities within municipal, transit, paratransit, healthcare, and commercial transportation markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Regional Sales Manager, you will:

  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve unit sales, revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Generate leads and actively prospect for new business opportunities throughout Ontario.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal, government, transit, paratransit, healthcare, and commercial transportation customers.
  •  Manage and grow a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and customer engagement activities.
  • Conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations, presentations, and site visits.
  • Identify customer requirements and recommend solutions that align with operational needs and budget objectives.
  • Respond to tenders, RFPs, and procurement opportunities within municipal and public-sector markets.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead qualification, quoting, negotiations, order processing, and delivery coordination.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and proposals using established pricing and quoting tools.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Customer Care, and Sales Support teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, opportunity pipelines, customer records, and sales activities within Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, networking events, and customer functions to promote Crestline products and services.
  • Achieve customer satisfaction goals and maintain strong long-term customer relationships.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, territory updates, and market intelligence to leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

As the Regional Sales Manager,  you will bring:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably selling capital equipment or complex business-to-business solutions.
  • Experience selling to municipalities, government organizations, transit agencies, healthcare organizations, or public-sector customers is considered a strong asset.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, prospecting, and territory growth.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong prospecting and lead-generation abilities.
  • Experience managing long sales cycles and complex customer relationships.
  • Familiarity with municipal procurement processes, tenders, and RFPs is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with quoting and proposal management software is considered an asset.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage competing deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel within Canada and the United States.
  • Ability to travel throughout Ontario approximately two weeks per month.
