Who you are: Manage accounts in a geographic and/or market territory to promote growth in sales and customer knowledge of Mallard Creek Polymers emulsion products; coordinate and utilize technical services and other company resources to build rapport with customers and increase business for existing and new products on a regular basis. Investigate and build new sales through innovative ideas; maintain correspondence and customer contact, continually develop new contacts within accounts assigned. What you do: Our ideal teammate has work-related experience with the following ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES  Project and achieve monthly / annual sales objectives/goals for territory and by specific customer Maintain and develop existing relationships at accounts while identifying and building new ones Organize customer visits Attend industry trade shows and seminars Search for new business and new business potential; nurture leads in territory developing sales to new prospects Promote company products, image and strengths Understand, manage, relate and provide solutions to problems identified at assigned customers Understand product applications and uses Research for and communicate market intelligence Provide all information required for demand planning, value growth pipeline and call reports Collaborate with technical staff, purchasing, supply chain and leaders at new and assigned accounts Other duties as needed or assigned RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHERS’ JOBS: The SM will interact and coordinate with MCP internal departments of Planning, Production, R&D, Customer Service, Finance and Marketing ACCOUNTABILITY: The SM is responsible for achieving projected sales objectives and goals, maintaining all needed documentation and information. What We NeedWhat we need: Performance in this position will also require adherence to our company core beliefs and how you apply your job duties to them. Embedded Safety Mindset Quality in all we do Performance to our Standard Being Customer Centric and Customer focused Skills and Qualifications: B.A./B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related technical field is preferred 5+ years’ experience in specialty chemical sales, with preference to experience in water-based formulations Ability to multi-task Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Microsoft Office Ability to work independently Ability to build relationships PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Travel to customer sites via necessary transportation such as car or plane Navigate customer sites, such as tours of facility Work at a desk for extended periods of time Wear PPE as needed at plant/customer sites Home office is required Work Location & Hours: This is a remote position based in the Midwest with travel based on customer and company needs.  Travel: Determined by the needs of the assigned territory and/or customers Job Type/ Department: Full-Time/Sales & Marketing Positions available: 1 Next Steps Our HR and hiring team will be screening resumes and reaching out to applicants until we schedule onsite interviews.
