The Regional Director of Engineering oversees preventive maintenance operations, building systems, and repair management across multiple hotel properties. They are responsible for analyzing performance trends, negotiating vendor contracts, and ensuring compliance with company service standards.

As our Regional Director of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the maintenance of our properties. This position requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple tasks and ensure the highest standards of maintenance and safety across all our hotels.
This position may require flexible scheduling availability.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Preventive Maintenance Operations: Oversee all preventive maintenance operations, including building systems, plumbing, air conditioning, kitchen equipment, and electrical systems.
Performance Analysis: Analyze ongoing performance and trends in all maintenance operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Supervision: Supervise due diligence, transition, and pre-development activities for maintenance at new properties.
Service Standards: Implement a company-wide service standard platform to maintain consistency and quality.
Vendor Negotiations: Negotiate national contracts with vendors to secure the best services and prices.
Consultant Oversight: Oversee all outside maintenance and engineering consultants to ensure compliance with company standards.
Repair Management: Oversee the completion of repairs to guest rooms, including minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, painting, telephone, and cable repairs as needed.
Preventive Maintenance Program: Responsible for the systematic rooms preventive maintenance program to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
Job Qualifications:
Must have a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
Previous hotel experience is required.
Relevant Technical certifications are preferred
Experience with Microsoft Suite required
Experience with Quore preferred
Ability to travel as needed, up to 80% of schedule
Due to travel requirements of this position, final candidates must be based in the Eastern US
