Recruiter - Home Health/Hospice - Remote

Job Description Summary

The duties of the recruiter will include sourcing, screening, hiring, and retaining qualified healthcare professionals to meet the office and business needs. The Recruiter develops relationships with clients, patients, and referral sources to determine open needs, successful placements, and identifies additional business opportunities.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

1. Act as a brand ambassador—bringing our culture to life through every candidate's touchpoint, from the first conversation to the final offer.

1. Conducts phone interviews with new applicants, schedules in person interviews with Hiring Managers, completes reference checks and background screenings and offers of employment. 

1. Places employment ads appropriately with guidance from operations teams while maintaining related advertising reports.

1. Accepts applicant/employee phone calls and provides information about our current job opportunities.

1. Act as liaison with area employment agencies, advertising agencies, temporary agencies, and local resources.

1. Maintains consistent open communication with scheduling supervisors and other hiring managers to keep them apprised of recruitment activities and new hires.

1. Must adhere to the company attendance and reliability guidelines, which are essential functions of the job to ensure quality, and consistent patient care.  

1. Help candidates see not only what the role entails, but what it's like to thrive in our collaborative, mission-driven environment. 

1. Any other duties/task as assigned.

Job Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

1. Minimum 4 years related recruiting and interviewing) experience is required.

1. Experience in Home Care and nurse recruitment preferred.

1. Prefer In-depth knowledge of Employment Laws on Federal/State level.

• The ability to occasionally drive/ operate foot control for 1-3 hours. 
• The ability to walk intermittently on level and or unlevel surface for less than 1 hour.

• The ability to occasionally twist, kneel, crouch and crawl for 1-3 hours. 
• The ability to lift to 10 pounds occasionally for 1-3 hours. 
• The ability to lift 11-50 pounds intermittently for less than 1 hour. 
• The ability to carry up to 10 pounds occasionally for 1-3 hours. 
• The ability to carry 11-50 pounds intermittently for less than 1 hour.
• The ability to push up to 10 pounds occasionally for 1-3 hours. 
• The ability to push 11-50 pounds intermittently for less than 1 hour. 
• The ability to pull up to 10 pounds occasionally for 1-3 hours.
• The ability to pull 11-50 pounds intermittently for less than 1 hour.
