ABOUT THE ROLE
The Records Compliance Analyst supports the Registrar’s Office by safeguarding the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of student academic records and ensuring compliant records practices across the institution. The role coordinates and executes key enrollment and degree reporting activities—including National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) and National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) submissions—by validating data, resolving errors, and maintaining the system rules and configurations that enable accurate reporting. The analyst processes enrollment and degree verifications, transcript requests, and other record-release requests in accordance with FERPA and institutional policy, and serves as a knowledgeable point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders. In addition, the Records Compliance Analyst supports Registrar systems and workflows (e.g., Banner and related records platforms), produces routine and ad hoc reports within the data governance framework, and contributes to continuous improvement through documentation, training, and the identification of opportunities to streamline and modernize records operations.TYPE OF SUPERVISION:

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR LICENSES:
Machines, Tools, Equipment, Electronic Devices and Software: Personal computer and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including word, excel, and outlook. Student Information System software: Ellucian Banner, Workday. SoftDocs. CRM and online application software: Target X, Salesforce, or Common Application. Reporting tools: Argos. Basic familiarity with logical programming, markup, and/or scripting languages such as SQL, Java, or HTML

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Position may be required to work flexible hours particularly given extended hours of business operation. Applicants for this position are subject to a background check and a criminal history review.
The hiring range for this position is $56,620 - $70,771 annually. Offers are determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographical location, knowledge, skills, years & depth of experience, and equity with internal team members.
