We're looking for a Rebrand Lead Graphic Designer who specializes in developing memorable brand identities while serving as a creative leader for both clients and the Lemon Seed team. This role combines exceptional design talent with strategic thinking, confident client communication, and a passion for developing others.


You'll lead brand creation and rebranding projects from concept through execution, helping clients transform their vision into a cohesive visual identity that reflects their story, builds trust, and supports their business goals. Success in this role comes from combining strong design expertise with confident communication, sound judgment, and the ability to guide both clients and teammates through the creative process.


What You'll Do

Brand Development

  • Lead complete brand creation and rebranding projects from discovery through implementation.
  • Design distinctive logos, custom typography, brand identities, visual systems, and comprehensive brand guidelines.
  • Develop creative concepts that accurately communicate each client's story, personality, and market position.
  • Create brand systems that extend consistently across every customer touchpoint.
  • Ensure every creative recommendation aligns with the client's marketing strategy and long-term business goals.


Client Leadership

  • Guide clients through the branding and design process, helping them move from uncertainty to confident decisions.
  • Present creative concepts and clearly explain the strategy behind every recommendation.
  • Help clients articulate feedback and translate ideas into actionable creative direction.
  • Lead difficult conversations with professionalism, empathy, and confidence.
  • Balance exceptional client service while protecting project scope, timelines, and the Creative Team's time.


People Leadership

  • Coach and mentor designers through creative challenges rather than simply providing answers.
  • Provide constructive feedback that strengthens both the work and the designer.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Build confidence in others by helping them think through challenges, communicate their ideas, and grow as creative professionals.
  • Recognize when teammates need encouragement, coaching, or direction, and provide the support needed to keep projects moving forward.
  • Create and refine processes that improve consistency, efficiency, and the overall success of the Creative Team.


Collaboration & Production

  • Partner with Strategists, Marketing Coordinators, and Leadership to develop cohesive marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare production-ready artwork for print and digital applications.
  • Troubleshoot production challenges involving vendors, printers, signage, and manufacturers.
  • Ensure files meet all production specifications before final delivery.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within a marketing or branding agency.
  • Exceptional portfolio demonstrating logo design, branding, and complete brand identity systems.
  • Advanced typography skills, including custom typography and type manipulation.
  • Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to transform ideas into memorable visual identities.
  • Experience presenting branding concepts and earning client buy-in through thoughtful communication.
  • Strong understanding of branding strategy, visual hierarchy, color theory, layout, and composition.
  • Experience designing comprehensive brand systems across a variety of applications, including vehicle wraps, printed collateral, signage, apparel, promotional materials, and trade show displays.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of print production, vendor communication, and file preparation.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching other designers is preferred.
  • Experience designing production-ready vehicle wraps and other large-format graphics is preferred.

Details

  • Full-time
  • Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time (CT), Monday through Friday
  • Salary: $65,000–$80,000, based on experience
