Your primary focus will be maintaining an exceptional standard of patient care, achieving target census levels, optimizing staff retention, and meeting regional budget objectives. Core Responsibilities

Facility & Clinical Leadership

• Strategic Oversight: Lead regional facility management teams and consultants in implementing comprehensive business plans, setting job priorities, and establishing assignments.
• Performance Management: Routinely conduct facility site rounds to monitor nursing care delivery, check facility cleanliness, evaluate staff morale, and coach/discipline administrators as needed.
• Quality Improvement: Drive the quality improvement process across all facility operations and leverage customer survey data to address areas of operational importance.
• Safety & Sanitation: Ensure all properties maintain clean, safe, and orderly grounds, strictly following Fire Safety, Infection Control, Universal Precaution, and Sanitation procedures.

Business & Financial Management

• Budget Accountability: Oversee facility budgets and business practices, including labor costs, payables, receivables, and cash handling, to ensure sound, credible financial practices.
• Revenue & Marketing: Collaborate with administrators to develop and execute targeted marketing strategies that maximize census, payor mix, and ancillary revenues.
• Human Resources & Retention: Monitor HR practices to ensure employment law compliance, manage staff turnover, and proactively develop recruiting and onboarding pipelines to support high morale.

Compliance & Community Relations

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all administrators maintain deep working knowledge of and strict compliance with all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with government regulators, residents, families, physicians, and the surrounding medical community.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Licensure: Must be a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA).
• Education: Completion of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Mobility: Must be able to travel extensively, including required overnight stays.
• Leadership Experience: Proven background in effective multi-facility performance management, project completion, and independent leadership.
• Core Competencies: Basic computer skills (including professional email use), ability to remain calm in emergencies, and clear communication skills.
• Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass all local health regulations, background checks, drug screenings, and a post-employment physical exam if required.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Ability to work within fast-paced environments that operate 24/7/365, with occasional extended hours.
• Repetitive use of hands for office equipment, standing for extended periods, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Specific vision and sensory abilities, including close/distance focus and the capability to safely distinguish smells, tastes, and temperatures.
