RCS Manager – Pediatric Billing

We are seeking an experienced, people-first, and operationally sharp revenue cycle leader to manage IU Health's Pediatric Billing operations. This is a broad, full-cycle revenue management role covering start-to-finish billing, payer follow-up, self-pay discovery, authorizations, and Medicaid follow-up. Leading a team of 18, this person will bring both deep billing expertise and proven leadership experience to a strong, cohesive team that works well together. The ideal candidate is not new to leadership, not new to billing, and ready to hit the ground running in a fully remote environment.

This role leads Revenue Cycle operations for the Pediatric Billing team, including:
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for this position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
Requires strong knowledge of business and reimbursement management with an undergraduate degree preferred.
At least three years of experience with hospital or physician billing strongly preferred.
Requires demonstrable knowledge of healthcare billing terminology concepts and processes.
Requires the ability to plan and manage the utilization of resources.
Requires a high level of interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Requires effective written and verbal communication skills in both individual and group settings.
Requires the ability to organize and manage work to achieve performance expectations.

Billing Expert: You have five or more years of professional billing experience and can speak fluently to payer follow-up, authorizations, self-pay, and Medicaid.
