We have an opening for a
Quality Improvement Advisor (QIA) II
Remote (Preferred residence in CA, AZ, NV, or OR)
Full-time 40 hours per week

As a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position, the QIA II serves as the client’s strategic consultant and quality improvement coach, acting as the primary partner within Mountain Pacific to drive organizational alignment, navigate contract performance, deliver tailored service solutions, and facilitate collaborative problem-solving. This position will be working with the Indian Health Service (IHS), tribally-managed and Urban Indian Organization (UIO) health clinics. As such this position is responsible for establishing and communicating clear expectations on the roles and responsibilities to the client of the services Mountain Pacific will provide; ensures client expectations are met with a high degree of customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for meeting internal and external metrics associated with assigned contracts.

The successful candidate would have excellent organizational, communication, and facilitation skills. Ability to create and monitor project management work plans and timelines. Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance (QA), and Performance Improvement (PI), including identifying improvement opportunities, developing and implementing structured improvement projects, and applying quality improvement methods through the full improvement cycle. The successful candidate will preferably have a bachelor's degree and will have a minimum of 7 years' experience working with healthcare providers and understanding of healthcare policy.  Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with Indian Health Service (IHS), tribally operated healthcare organizations, and Urban Indian Organizations (UIOs). 

This position does require travel 15% - 60% of the time. The target compensation for this position is $70,000 - $95,000 a year.
