Quality Assurance Intern

Job DetailsJob Location: RemoteJOB SUMMARY  Student pharmacist/intern using clinical skills to provide review of select MTM service components including claim documentation requirements and quality assurance processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Complete monthly claim review using clinical judgment and established policies and procedures by deadlines as assigned Support the Outcomes Network through systematic and consistent feedback and coaching regarding clinical appropriateness of interventions Identify quality improvement opportunities through ongoing evaluation of the efficiency and effectiveness of the quality assurance program Other duties as assigned QualificationsKNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS Ability to meet multiple deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong quantitative, qualitative, and analytical skills including technical proficiency related to PC and basic office software (such as Word and Excel) Must be able to work autonomously (with minimal direction) while also being part of an integrated team Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization, always demonstrating professionalism and good judgment EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Current P2 student Community Pharmacy experience preferred Must be able to work up to 20 hours per week Strong pharmacy related clinical knowledge PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
